Here’s an interesting article from Slate written by Jennifer Block, author of Pushed. Many of you already know about Marni Kotak, the performance artist who’s planning on giving birth in a Brooklyn art gallery. Block starts with Kotak and then expands her focus to the explosion of birth videos on YouTube. Reactions to the trend are all over the map. One woman’s self-affirmation is another’s exhibitionism, apparently.
